I’m unsure what category you fall in to but most men are either:

Too frightened to ever approach a girl unless they are completely drunk

Too arrogant and continuously approach women only to be rejected again and again

The first rule of seducing girls is easy, you must talk to them! Lots of guys protest they always go home alone, but the problem is they did not approach even one girl the whole night.

To have success with girls you have to approach them, if you are a little nervous about it use the 15 second rule. If you spot a girl you you think is attractive you should approach her within 15 seconds of seeing her. This does not give you any time to get nervous and is a fantastic way to get used to approaching women.

This should not stop you speaking to women as there are lots of solutions to this issue. Despite what you might believe girls do respond to good pick up lines, as long as you say them in a mischievous way and you do not take yourself too serious. If you do not feel comfortable dropping a pick up line do not use one, it will back fire on you.

If you do not know what to say use a compliment to break the ice. You can do this in a laid-back and none threatening way. If you do choose to give her a compliment attempt to make it specific rather than just letting her know that you think she is beautiful. Explain you love her eyes, hair or smile but whatever you do, do not compliment her in a sexualized way.

If you compliment her on something other than her looks it will guarantee you appear different to other guys. Pick something else out and tell her how fantastic it is, this might be her dress, laugh or even her dancing. The more specific you are the more sincere you will seem.

If you are too reserved to give compliments about a girl you can use an incident or another person as a means to spark a dialogue. If there is a disagreement in a bar, or someone is acting the fool, you can use these situations as an ice breaker.

Whichever strategy you use to approach the girl make sure that all of it is delivered in a relaxed friendly way. Make sure you smile often and that your attention is focused one hundred percent on her at all times.
